About

Jessica Amy Evans (b.1996, London) is a multimedia artist, curator and events manager living and working in London. Graduating in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins in 2019, she then went on to curate ‘Murmurations’ a postgraduate art show featuring the works of over 50 emerging artists. She co curated the CSM degree show after party ‘Soft Rushes’ and managed the art direction for ‘Cabaret Insolite’ a performative club night in London. In her spare time she runs alternative life drawing classes out of her living room.

In her personal practice she experiments with different media including photography, illustration, printmaking, sculpture and textiles. She takes inspiration and influence from surrealism, futurism, music subcultures and the women’s health movement. Interweaving themes of identity, body image and self acceptance her work often explores the systemic power structures that underpin the subjection of women in the areas of sexuality, reproduction and status.
