About

b. 1986, HK.

JESS EVANS is a visual artist from Barnet, North London who graduated with a 1st class Fine Art degree from Central Saint Martins in 2019.

Her portfolio features oil pastel drawings, murals and mosaic art. Her playful, illustrative and expressive style is characterised by vibrant colours and personal symbolism. Finding inspiration in nature, dreams and swimming she creates abstract pieces, portraits and studies from life.

This year, she enrolled at The London School of Muralism and has learned how to work with local businesses and communities to create site specific murals. Her first project was with an independent craft beer pub in Crouch End called ‘Small Beer’. Taking inspiration from lava lamps, and using the existing brand identity, she created an environment that “feels welcoming and vibrant.”
